These terms govern your use of Type Clean — the Chrome extension, the typeclean.com website, and the account and generation services behind them (together, the “Service”). By installing the extension or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by TypeClean, 165 Namdeo Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@typeclean.com.
1. Accounts
- Cloud generation requires a free Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
- One account is for one person. Sharing an account, or its session, to give several people access to a paid plan is not permitted.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and to hold a Google account.
2. Plans and what each includes
- Free — 100 cloud generations per UTC day on Type Clean free models, after Google sign-in. No payment required.
- Pro — a recurring subscription. Removes the daily cap on free models, adds hosted GPT, Claude and Gemini, and includes models we add later at no extra cost. Includes Bring your own key.
- Bring your own key — a one-time licence to use your own provider API keys in the extension. You pay your chosen provider directly for that usage; we add no markup and never see those keys.
Current prices are shown on the pricing section. We may change prices for future billing periods; we will not change the price of a period you have already paid for, and we will give notice before a change takes effect.
3. Fair use
“Unlimited” on Pro means there is no daily cap on how many generations you run. It is not an unmetered allowance for automated or bulk use. We apply rate limits and a generous daily input budget to keep the Service available and its costs predictable; they are set well above ordinary human use. We may contact you, apply limits, or suspend an account that circumvents them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe someone else's rights;
- generate material that harasses, deframes, or sexualises minors;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, or attempt to bypass quotas, authentication, or rate limits;
- resell or redistribute the Service's output as if it were your own service.
The model providers we route to have their own acceptable-use policies, and your requests are subject to them.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the text you send and to the output you receive. We claim no ownership of either and do not use them to train models. Cloud requests are forwarded to the model provider you selected and are not stored on our servers — see the Privacy Policy.
AI output can be wrong, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review anything you rely on. You are responsible for what you publish or send.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Models are provided by third parties and may be changed, deprecated, or become unavailable at short notice; we may substitute a comparable model. Features may be added, changed, or removed. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will give notice and you may cancel under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@typeclean.com. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where required by law. If we terminate an active paid plan for a reason that is not your breach, we will refund the unused portion.
8. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Google (sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting and some models), our payment provider, and the AI providers behind hosted models. Their terms apply to their parts of the Service. Where you use Bring your own key, your relationship for that usage is directly with the provider whose key you configured.
9. Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above changes when we do, and material changes will be notified by email or in the product before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
